Practical solutions / Recording the weight of items

Last post by captainfuzzyface - March 24, 2024, 09:58:12 AMSo what are the alternatives to Repair Monitor? I'd love to use it but the interface isn't good enough yet to make that possible when you have a long queue of items to be logged in quickly.
I've spoken with the Repair Cafe people and asked if there are other ways to add our items to the same database, but there's no other real alternative. I think you can use the Open Repair Standard (restartproject) but this is meant primarily for electronics. Repair Monitor also won't open up an API or bulk upload for us to use.
Has anyone had any more success with ways to log items?

as a volunteer fixer at Sherborne (UK) Repair Cafe, we are used to getting all sorts of items to repair. This one is beyond our team so I wondered if anyone in the International Community could help. I's a Nutcracker Suite animated ballet scene, but the main control board is dead. It should control lights, curtains, Scene revolve and dancer movement plus play music appropriate to each of 4 different scenes. A controller without music would just need some sequencing to control those functions, so if anyone is mad enough to volunteer to design and make a control board, the owner would be delighted.

Never used it again. Trying to design one for my Repair Cafe.

if you are not able to tell me about this life then what proof do you have that you didn't forget your past ? and that you will not forget this present life in the future ?
that is Fact that Supreme Lord Krishna exists but we posses no such intelligence to understand him.
there is also next life. and i already proved you that no scientist, no politician, no so-called intelligent man in this world is able to understand this Truth. cuz they are imagining. and you cannot imagine what is god, who is god, what is after life etc.

So you have to ask from mother, "Who is my father?" And if she says, "This gentleman is your father," then it is all right. It is easy.
Otherwise, if you makes research, "Who is my father?" go on searching for life; you'll never find your father.

I'll have to follow great personalities. The same reason mother says, this gentleman is my father. That's all. Finish business. Where is the necessity of making research? All authorities accept Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. You accept it; then your searching after God is finished.
Why should you waste your time?

Chant " hare krishna hare krishna krishna krishna hare hare hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare " and be happy.
if you still don,t believe on me then chant any other name for 5 Min's and chant this holy name for 5 Min's and you will see effect. i promise you it works And chanting at least 16 rounds ( each round of 108 beads ) of the Hare Krishna maha-mantra daily.

Is there a suggested meeting management tool aside from a bit clumsy use of online calendars, to allow people to register their interest and need, so we can match that need at the Repair Cafe?
For a virtual Repair Cafe, which we see would mainly be used for diagnosing problems where special tools aren't required, are there software tools that you all would recommend to assist the Repair Cafe tech in working with a person submitting a problem? We would like to use Help Lightning for instance.
